Welcome to St Catherine's College Conferences website. We very much hope that the information on our website and the impression it gives you of the quality that St Catherine's can offer will lead you to contact us to talk further about your conference or event requirements.

We are able to offer facilities for residential conferences during the vacations for up to 350 delegates and, using our dedicated conference space during term time, we can accommodate non-residential day conferences/meetings for up to 200 participants.

Our aim has been to include all the information you need in planning and running your conference and event. If you feel we have missed something we would welcome your comments/observations. The website can also pay a useful role in terms of your communication with your delegates. You might like to refer those attending the conference or event you are organising to this website (and the College sister site - www.stcatz.ox.ac.uk) - so that they familiarise themselves with the College before they arrive.

As Oxford's youngest undergraduate college we bring a fresh, contemporary perspective to the Oxford experience. Eight hundred years of University history, cast in a modern mould. Our buildings, facilities and gardens all form part of an all-round designed setting for every aspect of your conference and stay - working, eating, relaxing and sleeping - it is around those basic building blocks that go together to make a successful event or meeting that this site is designed.

Working

You will find in this section descriptions of our lecture theatres, meeting and syndicate rooms. It also contains details of the information technology and audio visual facilities that St Catherine's can offer to support you and your colleagues during the working part of a stay with us

Eating

With the largest college dining hall in Oxford - seating up to 380 delegates - a kitchen which prides itself on freshness and quality and a competetent hall waiting staff which gives equal emphasis to friendliness and service, St Catherine's has considerable experience of hosting very large banquets. It is as well-equipped for smaller lunches and buffets.

Relaxing

One of the most important features of a successful conference or event is the opportunity offered for networking. St Catherine's is particularly fortunate in having a spacious bar and common room arrangement which open onto large and attractive gardens.

Sleeping

A good night's rest and modern, high quality accommodation is expected by all conference and meeting delegates. Being out of the centre of town, St Catherine's can offer peace and quiet. With nearly 250 purpose-built, modern en suite bedrooms, the College can provide some of the best college-based conference accommodation in Oxford. Lower cost, non en suite accommodation is also available.
